Red Bull 3X Basketball Tournament Stops in Salt Lake City, held on SnapSports® Official Championship Courts
The newest premier 3 on 3 basketball tournament stopped in Salt Lake City last weekend, taking the downtown summer heat to an entirely new level. The Red Bull 3X Salt lake City Regional Qualifier featured top male and female talent aged 18 and up vying for the $6,000 prize purse and a chance to earn a spot on the 2020 USA Basketball National 3X Team! All tournament play, taking place in the outdoor courtyard of Vivint Smart Home Arena, ensued on SnapSports Official Championship Basketball courts custom made for the Red Bull events. With Vivint Smart Home Arena just miles away from headquarters, SnapSports eagerly anticipated such an elite level event held in their backyard.

The Red Bull 3X Salt Lake City Event was one of over twenty qualifiers held nationwide, with the top 4 men’s and women’s teams invited to play in the Red Bull USA 3X West Regional Event taking place in September. In partnership with USA Basketball, the inaugural Red Bull 3X series is one of 4 elite tournaments searching for America’s top tier 3X athletes. Men and women competing in Red Bull events earn cash prizes and FIBA points for the ultimate chance to win a spot on the 2020 USA Basketball National 3×3 Team!
For the inaugural tournament, Red Bull (an energy drink company known for sponsoring extreme sporting events) searched for a portable, high-performance basketball surface ideal for high-level athletes with the ability to customize with the rad, avant-garde branding the energy maven is known for. SnapSports was happy to deliver with their Outdoor Revolution ShockTower Basketball surfacing, complete with a one of a kind maze-like design and hand-painted Red Bull Logos. An extreme court design for an extreme company!
