When you hear a client’s last name is “Hooper”and they happen to be looking for a basketball court, you know it’s a slam dunk in the making! The Hooper family discovered SnapSports while researching basketball hoop installations, and after a 35-minute call, were thrilled to find a partner who could guide the family through the process of selecting the perfect court to fit their property, lifestyle, and budget.
What started as a vision for a basic concrete basketball court and hoop, quickly evolved into the multi-sport haven you see in the after photos. As the project’s scope grew, SnapSports authorized court Builder Jeff of Custom Sportscapes, provided creative solutions to manage costs, including utilizing the ease of a SnapSports installation and turning part of the project into a family DIY with the Hooper Family assembling the court surface themselves!
When the court surface arrived, it became a true family and community effort. While Custom Sportscapes installed the ball containment fencing, Mr. and Mrs. Hooper’s son and four of his friends enthusiastically moved the court tiles from the street, ready to direct the rest of the team. The Team (the Hoopers, along with Mrs. Hooper’s parents) tackled the DIY project—a ‘slam dunk’ display of “sweat equity” spanning three generations!
Before and After
The Hooper family, deeply involved with their church and local community, envisioned this court as a vibrant, attractive, and safe gathering place for their kids, friends, and other families to enjoy basketball, pickleball, and other games.
