SnapSports is known for building world-class athletic courts, but sometimes, a project comes along that blurs the line between sport and art. We’re thrilled to shine a spotlight on one such creation: The Art Court in Delft, Holland.

This stunning multi-game court is a collaboration with our longtime partner, Royal Campen, a leader in sports surfacing since 2004 and our exclusive distributor for the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. Rene Bronwasser of Royal Campen created this stunning court with the SnapSports flooring they had in stock.

The court’s unique “flying carpet” design is the brainchild of artist Micha deBie. His vibrant pattern transforms the court from a simple playing surface into an eye-catching piece of public art. It’s a testament to how creative design can elevate a space and turn it into a community focal point.

Spanning an impressive 82′ x 98′, the court features FIBA regulation lines (50′ x 92′), making it perfect for serious basketball. But the versatility doesn’t stop there. With hockey goals seamlessly integrated into the sidelines, the court is designed for multiple sports, ensuring that players of all ages and interests can enjoy the space.

This isn’t just a court; it’s a statement. It’s proof that a sports surface can be both a high-performance athletic space and a beautiful work of art.

If you’re in the Delft area, be sure to check out this incredible installation and experience the fusion of art and sport for yourself!
