SnapSports® has been chosen as an official flooring provider for the 1st Annual AAU Las Vegas Memorial Day Tournament to take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Tarkanian Basketball Academy May 24 – 26, 2014. The expansion to Las Vegas comes following several successful Memorial Day Tournaments held in Reno with this year’s competition expecting over 1000 teams. The ‘Jam On It’ Vegas event sets itself apart, however, in a big fashion – the tournament will host both basketball and volleyball competitors, boys and girls ages elementary through varsity. SnapSports ShockTower surface was chosen as the premium surface to accommodate the dual sport tournament.

The 2014 AAU Jam On It Las Vegas Memorial Day tournament will feature over 90 teams competing on 15 ShockTower Championship Courts. The multi-patented ShockTower technology is the only surface on the market to incorporate a shock absorption system into the understructure of the floor. 16 individual shocks per square foot ease the impact on player’s joints, guaranteeing a safer surface for any sport including basketball and volleyball.
