Every two years FSB is held in Cologne, Germany; this is the world’s leading trade fair for Amenity Areas, Sports and Pool Facilities. The enormous exhibit hall, Koelnmesse, is divided into three themed sections based on the primary industries for the fair. This year the exhibition ran from October 27th through 30th, and it’s estimated that 650 companies from more than 45 countries were exhibiting at the fair. Attendees ranged from designers to decision-makers, planners to the private sector.
In years past, SnapSports has always exhibited at FSB with a large centrally located booth. The booth has always been the focal point for SnapSports. Having a booth allowed their current and prospective dealers to easily locate them, visit with the SnapSports team, and discuss products and news.
This year, SnapSports decided to take a slightly different approach to the FSB trade fair: they elected to forego the large display booth in order to hold two by-invitation-only meetings and private dinners with their dealer and distributor network. This meeting format allowed for the SnapSports team to make presentations, offer training and advice, as well as discuss forthcoming expansions to the product lineup. The dinner and meeting approach was well received by SnapSports’ dealers and distributors, offering them additional time for questions and undivided attention.
As the trade fair is winding down in Germany, the SnapSports team and dealers are heading home with fresh ideas, inspiration and renewed vigor. SnapSports will continue to innovate and lead the industry, and looks forward to the meetings in Cologne in two more years.
