SnapSports Athletic Surfaces Official Sports Flooring of 2011 Volleyball Festival

The 28th Annual Volleyball Festival has over 7000 female competitors and is one of the largest women’s volleyball tournaments in the country. Approximately 550 teams with girls ages 12-18 will compete in seven different age divisions at the Phoenix Convention Center from June 23-27, 2011, 131 of which will be from Arizona. Past participants have included former Olympians Kerri Walsh, Misty May, Heather Cox, Kristin Folkl, Holly McPeak, Tara Cross-Battle, and Kelli Tennant. 43rd USA Team Handball National Championships

SnapSports®, the industry leader in modular sports surfacing, will be the official floor of the 43rd USA Team Handball National Championships, to be held May 13-15, 2011, at the Salt Palace Convention Center, in Salt Lake City, UT.

SnapSports® Athletic Surfacing, the industry leader of the modular sports surfacing industry, will provide the official flooring for the 43rd USA Team Handball National Championships, being held May 13-15, 2011 at the Salt Palace Convention Center, in Salt Lake City, UT. The three-day tournament, will feature competition in three different divisions, for which all of the games, will take place on SnapSports®, patented BounceBack® surfacing, manufactured specifically for durability during competitive play. By the end of the event, two teams will walk away as the 2012 Men’s and Women’s Championships.

The 43rd USA Team Handball National Championships, notably the biggest weekend in American Handball, will be held for the first time in Utah, and has been welcomed with open arms by the Utah Sports Commission.

Utah will become the 17th state to host the Nationals event, which was originally held in 1968 in Long Island. The selection of Salt Lake City as the host city, was not surprising, as USA Team Handball’s national governing body, recently moved and established it’s headquarters in Utah’s capitol city in 2005.

SnapSports® Provides Futsal Court for Utah Boy Scouts at Scout-O-Rama 2011

Scout-O-Rama 2011 Futsal Court

SnapSports®, the industry leading manufacturer of athletic surfacing, will be supplying a SnapSports® multi-patented Futsal pitch, for Scout-O-Rama 2011, being held at the South Towne Expo Center, in Sandy, UT on April 30, 2011. The SnapSports® Futsal soccer court will be used as an interactive showcase, to garner more youth involvement in the game of Futsal, and also to give kids the opportunity to learn more about scouting.

Utah’s 2011 Scout-O-Rama, hosted by the Great Salt Lake Council, Boys Scouts of America, will not only be an opportunity for the scouts to showcase their skills, but also will highlight the kick off of their focus on ‘A New Century of Scouting Service’, by which the scouts put an emphasis on completing 2011 hours of service and encourage all attendees to participate as well, by bringing a canned food item to be donated to the Utah Food Bank or a children’s book to be donated to Read Today.

The annual Scout-O-Rama event is expected to bring 25,000-30,000 attendees of all ages and give them the opportunity to participate in fun and exciting “hands-on” exhibits, including an interactive clinic with two indoor soccer leagues that will be playing games on the SnapSports® Futsal court.

The Scouts Organization hopes that by incorporating the sport of Futsal they can encourage more Hispanic youth to become involved in scouting as well. Also expected to join in Saturday’s activities is Leo the Lion, ReAL Salt Lake Mascot, who will stop by and help the kids do some goal shooting on the SnapSports® Futsal court later that afternoon. The Great Salt Lake Council has also announced Jerry Sloan, as the 2011 Scout-O-Rama Honorary Chairman.

Pacific AAU Girls District Championships to Be Played on SnapSports® Athletic Surfacing

SnapSports® will provide 20 championship basketball courts for the Pacific AAU Girls District Championships, at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center April 30- May 1, 2011.

SnapSports® Athletic Surfacing has been chosen as the preferred flooring of the Oscar Jimenez Pacific AAU Girls District Championships, being held at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center in Reno, Nevada, April 30 – May 1, 2011. SnapSports® will be providing 20 high-performance Basketball courts, ideal for tournament play, for the duration of the games.

For the 10th consecutive year, Jam On It – All Under One Roof Basketball Tournaments, now entering its 20th year of tournament hosting and recognized as one of the premier tournament event operators in the country, will host the Pacific AAU Girls Basketball District Championship, which serves as the AAU National Qualifier for the Pacific District. The Pacific District has one of the largest AAU memberships, and this qualifier, serves as not only a District Qualifier, but also as an opportunity for coaches and players to come together and celebrate girls basketball. All of the games played during this two-day tournament, will be played on SnapSports® multiple patented courts, the preferred flooring of, Jam On It – All Under One Roof Basketball Tournaments.
